Higurashi When They Cry is a linear sound novel with no branching choices or alternate endings in its original Steam Question Arcs. Read the four chapters in order—Chapter 1: Onikakushi (Abducted by Demons), Chapter 2: Watanagashi (Cotton Drifting), Chapter 3: Tatarigoroshi (Curse Killing), and Chapter 4: Himatsubushi (Time Killing). Read the optional TIPS as they unlock for extra clues and context. Once all four chapters are complete, continue with Higurashi When They Cry: Answer Arcs (Chapters 5–8) to finish the main story.
