In Maitetsu, the gameplay offers you a single pivotal choice. This decision occurs at the conclusion of the common route, where you must select one of the three main story routes to follow. Each route explores a different storyline, character arc, and set of outcomes. The other routes do not become accessible through normal progression. Instead, you can access them directly from the title menu only after you’ve unlocked them.
