Hashihime of the Old Book Town follows a fixed route order, so you cannot freely choose which character to pursue first. Each completed route unlocks the choices required for the next one, beginning with Minakami and progressing through Kawase, Hanazawa, Hakase, and finally the Secret Character. Each character has one ending.
